For each study, you will receive an invitation by email to participate. Our surveys are compatible with desktop, laptop and mobile devices. All you need to do is click on the survey link. Then, simply follow the instructions on the screen to complete the survey. The survey link will also appear on the community website under the “Surveys” page.
Not necessarily. We will do our best to identify studies that look like a match based on your profile, however some may not. In these cases, the only way to know if you qualify will be to ask you up front in the survey. In cases when you or your household does not fit the criteria, we will try to notify you quickly and release you from completing any more of that survey.
On average, you will be sent a survey invitation about once or twice per month. There will also be new Quick Polls posted to the site every week or two, as well as occasional new discussion forums for you to participate in.
You are welcome to take part in as many surveys and discussion forums as you like.
On average, our surveys are approximately 5-8 minutes; however, some can be shorter and others can be longer. All surveys and activities are completely voluntary, and we let you know the approximate length of the survey on the invitation so you can plan accordingly. Also, surveys can be stopped and restarted later from where you left off if you are in a hurry.
